Temporary Move

I've been cooking in the kitchen for almost two weeks now and was finally starting to reach a point of normalcy.  I have gotten back into a routine and am loving my kitchen.  But just as I was getting settled, we arrived at our last major milestone...patching of plaster wall cracks and finishing the rest of the hardwood floors.  Translation:  move everything out of the living room and new office, and  most of the furniture in the master bedroom.

The plan is for the drywallers to fix the living room walls, hallway walls and master bedroom walls.  They are also taping and mudding the pantry and master bathroom which were not ready last time they came to the house.  Next week, the hardwood floor contractor will come and finish the office, living room and master closet floors.  We'll have them do the master bedroom when we add the west addition in a couple of years.  I was not too excited about the process, but I know in a few short weeks everything will be back to normal and our construction project will be almost complete.

This is the state of my home today.  No furniture in the living room, a makeshift living room in the new office (for Olympic watching) and an almost empty bedroom.  I told Dan I couldn't live without a TV until the Olympics are over, so we placed it in the office for the next couple of days.
