Best Shopping Trip to Lowes EVER! Take Two!

We spend a lot of time at Lowes.  So much that we are on a first name basis with a handful of employees.  We're always checking the clearance section, but great deals are far and few between.  However, in the last two weeks I've hit the jackpot in lawn and garden section.  These purchases definitely rival our last great shopping trip.

The first trip to Lowes I purchased 20 perennials plants for $20 and they were still quite alive.
Here's a list of all I got:
8 Native Grass
3 Red Flowering bushes
1 Calla Lilies
3 Orchid blooms
4 Spirea
1 mystery bush (we're excited to see this bloom)

The next night Dan and I returned and discovered trees were 50% off.  We were already planning on buying trees so it was perfect timing.  We picked up two Redbuds, a Dogwood, a Maple and an Oak.  We also bought two wisteria to grow around our pergola.

I have continued to check the clearance almost daily and the following week they put knock out roses on clearance as well.  I ended up buying three small, one medium and two large bushes for $5-$6 a piece.  That's 75% off of the regular price.  They are already blooming like crazy and look great in our front yard.

For Marc:  There are a few bare spots, but the grass has filled in pretty well.  We mowed it for the first time last night.

And the madness continues, last night we stopped at Lowes again and bought four Magnolias, four more native grasses and three lilies.  We spent $30 on plants that were originally $150. I seriously can't stop buying discount plants.
