Around here...

As I've mentioned before, we're still working pretty diligently on the house, but the projects we're doing now are much more detail intensive and just take a lot of time.  Here's what we've been up to:

• Doors, doors and more doors-The doors separting the living room from the office have been painted and hung. The french doors that used to be in the living room were recylced upstairs in our old closet area (we plan to eventually make that area into a craft area).  And doors to the master bathroom and master closet are up.

• Electrical-The electricians came last weekend and finished up the kitchen electrical.  They also hung our two major light fixtures, one in the foyer and one at the top of the stairs.

• Trim-We're continually working on trim.  The most recognizable pieces are the picture rail that we hung in the living room and foyer.  It still needs touched up, but I hope to have it ready soon so that we can get our picture frames back on the walls.
