Brew to Brew

Every now and then we do something "normal" on the weekends and take a day off from working on the house.  This past weekend we ran the Brew to Brew which is a 44-mile relay race from Boulevard Brewery in Kansas City to Free State Brewery in Lawrence.  Dan runs on a guys team made up of UMR Alums and I run on a girls team made up of UMR Alums, co-workers and friends.  It's one of our favorite runs each year and it always ends with lots of great stories.

This year the girls team went as Team Ms. PacMan.  We all dressed as ghosts and had a Ms. PacMan baton (thanks to Andrea!).  The 5-person guys team dressed as their usual Boulevard beer bottles and Dan's 4-person team wore their Miner racing jerseys.

The best part of the weekend is getting to hang out with great friends, especially ones that don't live in Kansas City.

Official results have not been posted, but we can say that the guys teams did not catch the ladies this year (guys had a delayed start) which is definitely a win if the ladies are counting!
