Moving Along...

The upstairs is looking great.  We have paint on the walls, the electrical complete and floors are going in this week.

The downstairs is not as far along, but we did open up the doorway to the dining room so that the opening matches the original house design.  The original framing was still in place, we just had to pull off the trim and a small piece of drywall and it was done.  It was relatively easy and in the words of Nicole Curtis, we're "returning the house to it's former glory".

Progress!!

The blog posts have been sparse but the progress has been AMAZING!!  Here are current photos of the house:

Construction Update

Construction is going well.  As of now, the 2nd Floor HVAC, 2nd Floor Insulation, built-ins and some drywall has been installed.  The framers are finished with all framing inside the house and just need to finish up siding a few areas of the exterior.  Other things still to come:

• Stonework
• Paint
• Gutters/Downspouts
• Garage Doors
• Lots of drywall hung by yours truly :)

You're looking at what used to be the side door of our house that led to the garage.  Now it's framed out to be a Butler's Pantry.  The plastic is blocking the kitchen.

Lately...

The last month has been crazy busy.  We celebrated the wedding of our two fabulous friends Dana & Chris, Corporate Challenge has kicked off and all of this has been taking place during construction.  Here's the highlights from the last month and house progress pictures:
